LIVING AND DYING
FROM A PRACTITIONER'S PROSPECTIVE
We are very happy to welcome Tetsu Nagasawa to Tashigar Norte
for an insightful Online Session on Life and Death.
How can we live and die in a better way? This is one of the main questions that lie at the heart of Buddhism.
In this online session, Tetsu Nagasawa would like to explore several answers to this question from sutra up to Bardo Todrol (Tibetan Book of the Dead), from a practitioner’s perspective. It will include several simple reflective practices, and also some discussions how to apply the ancient wisdom in the modern settings, both societal and cultural.
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore these fundamental transitions through the lens of a dedicated practitioner. Tetsu will talk on the Root Verses of the Six Bardos from the Bardo Todrol that deals with the six bardos, adding some information from sutras and oral instructions he received from Tibetan lamas. The session will also include a couple of very simple rellective exercises which will be useful to prepare for death.
This course runs on your free generous donation basis.
