The long life practice of Amitayus, called The Essence of All Longevity Practices (Tsedrub Gongdu), is an extraordinary teaching rediscovered in the nineteenth century by the Jalupa (Rainbow Body) Nyagla Pema Dundul, and is considered to be the actual practice performed by Guru Padmasambhava and Mandarava for the attainment of long life in the cave of Maratika.
Chogyal Namkhai Norbu received it from Ayu Khandro, who was a direct student of Nyagla Pema Dundul, and, aware of its greatest importance, gave its full transmission several times in the context of the Dzogchen Community, and its main lung at the end of each retreat.

During the course we will learn all the stages of visualization and recitation of this practice, including mudras, how to use ritual bell and Vajra, and the dadar. Each session will include approximately one hour of explanation and one hour of practice.

Adriano Clemente
Adriano was born in Lecce, Italy, on 5 January 1958 and grew up in Naples. He met his Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in 1975.
He was part of the original group of students who received the first Dzogchen teachings in 1976 at the Palestra on Via Palasciano in Naples.
That same year, he joined the University of Oriental Studies in Naples to study Tibetan language and literature, graduating in 1983 with a thesis on the Dzogchen Bönpo text Trenpa Serdam (Trenpa Namkha’s Golden Advice) by Shense Lhaje (13th century), later published by Snow Lion in 2016 with the title Visionary Encounters.
At that time he started working on translations of Tibetan texts, mainly authored by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, such as Drung, Deu, and Bon, for which he did extensive research in the ancient Bön tradition, and Yantra Yoga: The Tibetan Yoga of Movement. He compiled and edited Dzogchen: The Self-Perfected State, and is the author, together with Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, of The Supreme Source, a pioneer work on the tradition of Dzogchen semde, in particular focusing on the Kunjed Gyalpo tantra.
He has translated most of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu’s work in Tibetan, including all the volumes of the Longsal cycle of teachings and of the Santi Maha Sangha training. Since 2003, Adriano Clemente is part of the Ka-ter Translation Project of the Shang Shung Institute Austria as the main translator for the project “Complete Works of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.”
Apart from that he is also active as a musician. Here you can explore his works: ADRIANO CLEMENTE
